Many of you out there are already familiar with this fabulous creation. For those of you who aren't, feel free to watch this quick video I made about why it's so important to get on the green smoothie train! Woo Woo!!! If you've never made a green smoothie before, here are a couple I recommend you start off with: Smoothie #1- 1 frozen banana, ¾ cup- 1 cup cherries, approx. 2 cups of baby spinach, approx. ½ cup water- Blend & enjoy! FYI, you don't have to freeze the banana, but I do because it makes the smoothie taste like icecream! Smoothie #2- 1 banana, ½ cup frozen mango, ½ orange or a whole one if it's small, approx. 2 cups baby spinach, approx. ½ cup water- Blend and enjoy! If you don't like banana or any of the other fruits I mentioned... well, don't add them. Add the fruit you do like. It's pretty simple. :) PS Buy organic & local produce if you can.
